Our forum has members who will help you in any way they can to enjoy your BMW E30 experience. We will do our best to answer any technical queries you have in our Technical Section and if you are finding that the recent fuel price increases are spoiling your BMW E30 fun, we can even advise on fitting an LPG system to halve your fuel costs.

Whilst we are a UK-based forum, we welcome enthusiasts from all over the world..... and beyond! Some variants of BMW E30 were not available in the UK. Do you have a 320iS, a 324d or td, a 325e, a 325iS or a 333i? We would like to hear about them too.

Hey Guys! Greetings from the Philippines! I currently drive a 1991 320i which i had owned for the past 4 years. Bought in really in stock good condition and have recently finished my own modifications. E30 parts are really hard to come by here in the Philippines that is why we envy you guys there in the UK where parts are a plenty. So we usually source our parts from the U.S. or not we get it from the local BMW dealers who rarely carry e0 parts. So all of here E30 drivers take a lot of dedication and saving up to purchase the parts we need. I will be posting some pictures of my car as soon as i finish the small touches needed. By the way, i am also a member of the BMW E30 Car Club of the Philippines. Your site is great and continue the good work!

Hi there people. My name is Dan , I'm 29 and live in Oxford. I'm now on my 4th e30 which is an Alpina C2 2.5. My previous ride was a White 325i cab which now belongs to Cloud. I've posted some pics up in the "my e30" area for all to see.

I'm normally on the e30zone most of the time and have been very active with meets since I joined last year. Main reason I joined is to keep in touch with Cloud and to meet other e30 lovers who may not use the zone. I'm also a BMWCC member and had a running report published in the club magazine in December 08.

My Alpina is fairly well known in thanks to a 6 page feature in Total BMW magazine in 06 where they compaired it to the 325 sport. Needless to say the 195bhp and the cudos of an Alpina with a 74 car run made it a very desired alternitive to a supped up sport ( which was doing around 180 bhp ).

As you can see I am extreamly proud of my Alpina and I hope to be able to meet more people and show and talk about cars. Ask cloud about it as he is one of 2 people I have ever taken out in it!

Hey Fellow E30er's
I was introduced by Tom (btw, whats your handle on here?) Real cool site!

I am 25 years old
I am currently in NY, though I have lived in London in the past and will be moving back this summer/fall

I am driving a 1987 US spec 325is, Cardinal Red Interior, oem is front spoiler, oem is rear deck lip, oem is side skirts, a turner motorsport performance chip, KN Rectangle Filter, lowered with HR Sport Springs an Inch & Half all around, with KYB GAJ (rear) and Billies (front), 4.10 LSD, with 16in replica BBS CO....This is my 3rd e30...I've had '86 325e (sold), '86 (euro-spec Italy) 325i (wrecked), and this one currently. The one I am in now I did a 5 spd swap and it was pretty simple as the auto's were already wired and the holes were already punched out at the factory for the pedals and transmission.

The pictures in the album are a bit outdated as they were taken pretty much immediately after purchasing the car....the album does have pictures of my previous e30's though http://picasaweb.google.com/transatlantic0207/MyE30S?feat=directlink

And I've posted some current pictures (i know it needs some work!)

Salutations.
I expect a lot of you will know me from the E30 Zone, for those that don't I think I'm regarded as the Zone's "village idiot" of sorts. Expect more of the same here. I'm the very same Cloud as mentioned in StuBeeDoo's current sig. I came on here because the E30 community on the Zone is fantastic, I've literally never met such nice, helpful, friendly and accepting people. Some of my ideas will come from a good mechanic friend of mine who can fix just about anything with pretty much nothing, but doesn't know bagger all about what makes a car cool, or quality, or fun, or even any good. The opposite of me, having enough knowledge about cars in general to buy an E30, but I couldn't fix a broken hazard switch if my life depended on it. I'm more of a driver.

So what do I drive? Well, nothing at the moment. I have a backburner project of a track car, which started out life as a 320i SE, got a bit tatty, a bit ragged, a bit abused, and since I've bought it has been almost completely obliterated. Plans for that are a 2.8 M20 with as much of the most advanced tuning technology as is possible to cram onto it. The newest addition to the fleet is a 325i convertible (pictured below) originally a chromie, which has since been facelifted. I'm hoping to get that back on the road soon, but it's reluctant, and every time I sort one fault out, another one comes up, and I'm slowly beginning to lose my patience and enthusiasm with it, so that may end up binned before it ever sees the road again. Actually nearly hit it with a shovel just this week.

My ever changing stance on what's acceptable for E30s gets me into arguments more than anything else. Sometimes I want to weld the diff and drive around sideways, other times I just want to put some polish onto a cotton bud to get at that bit that runs around the windows. I have the tuning bug bad, but I think tuning, and in particular aftermarket styling, will ruin my convertible. I've dreamed of both concourse and rallycross. Part of me wants to go mad with E36 components, and partly I want to keep it simple. But always, I think the E30 rocks.

In the photo above, my car is the sad looking white thing behind someone else's gorgeous car.

I've also just noticed the URL of this website is s14.zetaboards.com - awesome.
