Have you got any pics of the damage Daryll?

Keep shopping around, someone will take the job on, just make sure they remove all the old rust first, and don't try and cover the rust up with a new panel, I've seen this done a few times.
Is the rust anywhere near the shock mount? This is when it get's difficult..

To be honest mate I didn't check the shock mount. The car is going into the garage on Thursday to have the fuel filler pipe fitted so will be able to have a better look.

I'm sure I took some pictures, I'll have a quick looky.

Just got my quote back from the bodyshop.

Whilst the guy was looking at it I took the rear seat out and the rust on the inner arch extends from the back of the arch at the bottom all the way over to the front bottom arch! Its fooked!

The guy can't get hold of the inner wheel arch or the rear wing so he is going to cut the wheel arch off for access, cut the rot out, weld a plate in and put a new wheel arch on, paint it, sort out the bubbling around the ariel and tidy my front wheel arches where the tyres have gone up and bent them for £600-£700!

Not bad I don't think! Will try and get it in for January. :bmwdance:
