Tried that one the other day mate, its pants, looked and tasted alright but the texture is all wrong, first of all i thought it was my cooking skills in the sweet department but i asked one of my old pastry chefs to have a go and it went the same for him. tis a bastard substance to get right. Cheers anyway mate i will have to scower everywhere to find one that works Oh yeah and stoney pi$$ off :LOL: |

cornflour ;) make sure the slices are dry, then get a pan with roasting hot nut oil (sesame or such type has a higher burning point, the old chinese use it for wok stuff) make a batter with some water and the corn flour, make sure its thickish dip the courgetes in the batter and shallow fry they will go crispy, chuckem on some kitchen roll to soak up the excess oil, and salt em jobsagoodun :P |
