finally decided to get all my stuff together that i had and chuck them in my new car. sony mp3 head unit replaces standard double din 6000rds cd player jensen 500 watt 2ch amp fits to the sub output on my head unit, which is adjustable from the head unit so you dont have to faff about adjusting levels in the boot, set the low pass to 35hz, think thats low enough for most music, set the amp output level to half as the fitting kit is a 300watt version, oops, came with some weedy speaker wire (about as thick as home plug wire)so i cut two lengths and doubled them up and used one for pos, one for neg on the sub, the kit i got had some 30amp power cable which should do for now, my little alternator is wheezing a bit but it'll be fine :LOL: put my chunky great signal leads down driver side, power down the other to avoid any interference, screwed amp to back of my sub box housing a 12 inch rockford punch sub (old school :LOL: ) i screwed it to the back cos it isnt gonna be a full time thing, my bike will fit in, my box will fit in, not both at the same time sorta thing :grrr:   ran it for 10 mins at first then checked wiring/amp heat, boot heat etc and it was fine, then drove to the mrs which is about 40-45 mins and it was warm, but not by any means hot, no distortion, just deep LOWWWWWWWWWWWWW bass that rattled my spine, tested it out with the pendulum DnB album hold your colour, for anyone wanting to test any type of sub etc, track 5 :woohoo: front speakers are holding up great with the 50 watts that the head unit is kickin out, so they are stayin for the time being |

yeah, but one thing is, i dont play happy hardcore and i can hear my tune over the bass :LOL: the speakers were missing the bass up front so i just fitted it to see, it probably wont stay forever, just until i start biking again and take it out |

no piccys at mo mate will get some by weekend but heres a teaser front components rearcomponents rear shelf 8" mid bass or comps 15" jbl sub in boot poss 2x12s in boot if i can fit em lol 2x mtx amps phenix gold 30 band graphics in boot alpine 2 channel amp for front comps 2 chan amp runnin rear shelf and a kenwood psw9524 headunit with remote cos im proper lazy lol and maybe a few other goodies :djspinthatshit: |

sounds like a hefty system you puttin in matey, thats gonna be a strip the interior out job for all the cabling :LOL:
defo for that mate, hardly anyone does it and it sounds ace, them 30 band graphics will look the bollox when they are mounted, you boxing it all out then? false floor etc remember the spare wheel :LOL: |
