Now then, Im changing the wishbones, doughnuts, roll bar rubbers and drop links on both sides of the motor on Monday in my mates garage.

I`ve read up quite a bit about them but theres got to be something that will com and bite me half way through.

So , any comments as to how to attack it in which order , both sides at once or one at a time, any pit-falls you may think of will be discarded straight away!

No, seriously guys, any help or comments will be taken on board and I thank you in advance for these!

I will have access to a car (Probe 2.5 v6?) and I will be only 2 mins drive from work(Toolroom/engineering shop)

(This will take place WITHOUT beer , so it could either drag on a bit or get very messy)

Thanks guy`s ,Mart.

the arms are easy so do one at a time, ball joint first then subframe mount then the dougnut, also unbolt the roll bar droplinks which makes changing the D-bushes muuuuuuuuuuuuuch easier, if you get stuck il pm you my number and talk you through the hard bits mate

Update at last!!!!

Well I fnally got to do these last saturday fortunately with my mate, who did most of the work since I wasnt well still.

The one joint I suspected being the culprit was well gone and ALL of the others were "very easy" (Shagged) as well including the drop links!

Everything more or less went to plan except when I put one doughnut on facing out not in, but switched it around without too much of a problem.

If I was to do this all again, I would definately buy them already pressed into new carriers as pressing in and out the douhgnuts took up a lot of the time, and if you dont have the proper tackle to do this ie big vice, press etc, then I can see this as becoming a right problem.

Everything else went really good as in all nuts came off first time and nobody bust any knuckels

So does it make a difference ?

TOO BLOODY RIGHT IT DOES!!!!

Its like drivng a completely different car.
I cant say any more than that really!

It took us three hours in total to do all the work , 50% taken up by the doughnuts, and if had to do it all again then it would be down to @ one hour in total and Im no expert, but to be honest I dont think they could do it that much faster anyway? (than one hour)

Just one last thing and I appologise in advance for this,(granny, eggs  )
Do ALL the joints and bushes , both sides at the same time and the benefit will shine through.
Cost? For both sides, £84 Ecp`s

Thanks for all the help as in post`s, photos, phone calls etc and all from The Planet!

Cheers, Mart.

New track-rod ends are hopefuly going on at the weekend so I`ll get it done then John.
The steering wheel position has move quite a bit but as it dosnt pull or make daft noises`s I think a couple of days should be OK.

Cheers mate, it drives soooooooooooooooo well now.

That would be my oldest lad who borrowed mine for an hour or so.(new hair shears for christmas !)

If youd have been in the sport he would have seen you and replied mate, its now just a matter of time before he comes over to "the dark side " of motoring.
