Need a bit of help here guy`s.

A set of front fogs will be here soon but I wont be fitting them just yet as it`s too cold and Im a :fogey:

I think there are some wires with connectors on the inside of the engine bay just below the headlights.These are factory stuff but I dont know what they are .

I will have a switch and the brackets but what else will I need?

Any write ups on this ?

Cheers guy`s.

I`ve been digging around "elswhere" and found this.
Good for future ref;

Relay for the fogs is K8, this is the one at the rearmost end of the fusebox, on the wing side, nearest fuse 30.

To fit the fogs, push out the covers, and remove the plastic retaining clips.
These need to be replaced with plastic clip-in nuts which take the screws through the foglight brackets.
(These are available very cheaply from the dealers.)

The wires for the fogs are usually under the headlamp covers in the engine bay. Plug these into the lights while fitting them.

The double switch is simply push the old one out from behind (easiest way) remove the wiring plug, and fit it to the new switch, and push it in.

You're likely to need a bulb in the dash, it is the one to the left of the rear bulb. This will then light up green when the front fogs are on.

You need to fit fuses 29 and 30 (7.5A) and fit the relay nearest to them.
