well my :e30: is back on the road now after 2 long months of me useing my sons fiesta :hammer: it wasnt a bad little motor TBH but im glad ive got the "old girl" back :snigger: here is my latest project they wont be to evryones likeing but if youve sussed me out i wont really care too much what other people think :LOL: i got them today( thursday) and will be trying to get them in this weekend weather allowing  let me know what you think (not that i will take any notice) :Rofl: lee |

only just noticed this comment (was too upset about the pink comment :grrr: ) only kidding mart :snigger: yes they do tilt forward (but not as much as a standard 2dr seat) as the side of the bolster hits the raised part on the side of the seat i dont know how this will affect the MOT but it was only passed at the begining of the month so ive got 11 months to worry about it mate :LOL: lee |

they are still not in lads :grrr: im back at work now and when i get in its been crap weather :hammer: (plus im not sure how im going to mount the seatbelts yet as the origonals are attached to the seats not the floor) plus the seats have got runners fitted with movement to go forwards and backwards and im not sure wether they will line up with the mounts in the floorpan or if im going to have to use the subframes of the e30 ones? a confused lee :snigger: |

well i have started to have a go at this lads at last LOL i took the passenger seat out earlier tonight and wished i hadnt bothered what a game ive had trying to get the runners of the standard seats i have got them off after a lot of use of my new angle grinder and a lot of sweat ( and thats not what i wanted to do after a hard day at work ) lol ive got to try and fit the runners off the new seats to the standard ones now and suss how to mount the seatbelt stalk but now ive started ive got to finish it as the wife has got nowhere to sit watch this space lee |

 ive got them both in now lads  i will post some pics (when i can remember my password for photobucket  )went out earlier for my first drive with them fitted and it was well worth all the sweat and hassle the first one seemed to take for ever to fit but the second one took less than two hours as i had learnt the easy way after fitting the first one  ( i did think about harnesses mate but wasnt sure about the MOT and how legal they are for a road car??) lee |

hehehe funny you should say about the pink thing! My mate put some very similar seats in his car and they looked pink in the pics, we were taking the right p*ss out of him! Joking apart though mate, they look very nice, you must be much happier driving about now, such a big improvement !! |

ye they are great mate you feel like you are stuck in them when cornering the only niggle ive got so far is that you have to make sure you grab the seatbelt before you shut the door as when it is shut the seat is so close to the door card that you havent got the room to reach it but with the extra support comfort and looks i think i can learn to live with this (i know they are designed to be used with a harness but dont think i could be  to fit them as that would probably be even more of an )one happy camper lee |
