Back Left Wheel Keeps Locking Up!!

hi,my back wheel keeps locking up on my 2.5 when driving and was wondering what was causing the problem?would it be the caliper or would it be something else like the servo unit.happened twice today and my asre nipped both times!any ideas?cheers

Off with the rear wheels fella double quick and check both sides (for comparison)
The servo would affect all of the system so it sounds as if its local to one side.

If in doubt mate, get it checked out.

hi,taken it all apart everything seems fine,just gonna get some one to have a look.hopefully get them to come to me as i dont really want to be driving it far.

take a look at the bearing on the offending side mate i had a similar problem years ago on a 2.8i capri and it was a partially seized wheel bearing

not saying its that mate but worth a look all the same

sorted it.was the handbrake shoe spring.was loose enough to let shoe come away backing plate.now on to the MOT.lets hope that dont cripple me as usual
