they look good Lee, I can't see why they wouldn't be allowed for the MOT, I think my mate had some in his motor once, and he didn't have any problems.

i cant see why they would be a problem mate as i guessing a seatbelt is there to protect you from a crash and these do a better job

the ones i might be getting have got the inertia bit that has to mount behind the seat and then the two straps come through the holes in the seat back

i might have a bit of fun mounting them as its only a two door but i think i can get around that ?

its a shame i can only get black though as i think red would look much cooler

Black is good. Try and see it from a female perspective, you're going to be a bit put off by red seatbelt harnesses.

Good luck with fitting.

Will there be photos when it's done?

Ever been tempted to sleep in the car, like a kind of alternative camping trip?

In a convertible, it'd just be like a tent, with rust on the bottom.

think you'll have to tell your insurance, i know a guy who fitted a 1.8turbo engine to his mk2 golf, they were fine about that, bigger turbo, fine, big wheels, 4wd and huge brakes fine, inflated premium, then he said he had harnesses and they refused him on the spot, although they are safe, they said in the event of a crash the fire service would not possibly know all ways of releasing harnesses and may endanger the lives of the fireman trying to release you from the car as opposed to releasing a normal belt. thats what they told him anyway, honestly. so they could and i say could invalidate your policy. different insurance companies may be different?
i think im turning japanese?

I've got some Momo ones that i have put in near enough every car I've owned, they just go in the washing machine now and then, but they are still in great condition, the Missus always manages to twist them round though
