Personally, I'm not a lover of 2-doors but I'll not let that get in the way.
Looks like a lot of car for the money, but I'd be looking closely at the bodywork issues - could cost well over a grand to sort properly (possibly a bottom-half re-spray). I'd also want to see some documentary evidence for the Alusil engine. Boston green is a sought-after colour IIRC.
If I were in the market for an E36, a 328i is the one I'd go for (but naturally it would be a Touring!).

I dont think he wants it perfect but your points are really valid and thanks for that !!!

He may even go for a touring yet as his now "wife" is due in may so, its still an open book .

Bookish :lol: :lol:

He is looking for "value for money" with a "proper " engine" :lol: :lol: and I may just go there next time myself in about soooooo many years from now, who knows ?
