As you know my 316 is a carb version of the M10 , and I was wondering if I could make it into an injected version.? If so, what would I need to carry out the above. Cheers, Mart. |

This probably isn't everything, but..... Manifold Injectors & feed rail Engine wiring loom Air filter Air flow meter ECU Distributor If you really want to go for it, best way would be to find a 318i roughly the same age that's being scrapped for rot issues and swap everything bit by bit. There are bound to be hoses (fuel and vacuum) that are different. HTH Stuart Edited by StuBeeDoo, Thu 19 Feb 2009, 16:59:07.

Cheers Stuart, Im just exploring possiblities at the moment . I would really like to fit the M42 engine but it uses an e36 auto box which if I had the time and space I would love to do. Mart. |

.....And doesn't the M10 carb engine have a mechanical fuel pump? If it does, the fuel tank will have to be changed as well because you'll need the one with the pump in. |
