keep getting a misfire on my 316 i e30 .. h reg any ideas

Check the sparking on each of the plugs,
and if they're all good, it's a fuelling problem.


It's almost certainly an electrical problem,
the mechanicals on the almighty M10 are pretty bulletproof.

have you checked the rubber that goes in between the AFM and the filter mate? i had a similar problem ages ago and the rubber had perished and split and that was what was causing the problem i fitted a new one and the misfire vanished

Lee beat me to it, I had the same problem, funnily enough, that's how I found this site in the first place, bought it off a member from here.

Did you take the rubber pipe off and look if it had any splits/holes?
